Evidence-based business checking
Check before you pay.
Look up a seller's phone number, link, handle or name before you send money. Zygos tells you what it has verified, what people have reported, and what it has not checked.
Saw a seller online? Paste the link. Zygos reads which account an Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X or WhatsApp link points to, and shows what it is connected to.
The Zygos rule
Claims are not facts.
When someone says a seller took their money, Zygos records what they say happened. It never records that the seller is guilty. Every claim is kept separate from the evidence about it, where that evidence came from, and what the business says in reply.
- The claim
What the reporter says happened, prepared for publication by a moderator. The reporter's identity is never published.
- The evidence
Each item is marked as supporting, contradicting or inconclusive, and keeps a record of where it came from and when.
- The response
The business can answer before and after publication. Its response sits beside the claim and never replaces it.
- The status
Every claim is reviewed before publication. Published means it met Zygos's standard for display, not that it is true.
Know who you are dealing with
A profile shows the phone numbers, accounts, websites and payment details connected to a business, and which of them Zygos has verified.
Spot an account pretending to be a business
When a page claims to be a known business, Zygos records whether that connection is established, and the evidence either way.
Follow the identity, not just the name
Sellers change handles and open new pages. Zygos keeps an account's previous identifiers and shows what it is connected to, and why.
Inspect the sources yourself
Outside evidence links back to the original post or record, with a Zygos capture in case it disappears.
Had a problem with a business?
Tell Zygos what happened. Submitting a report does not publish it: a moderator reviews every report and its evidence first, and your files stay private.
